I know that my mom has it and I would like for her to talk to her doctor about it. I kind of want to give her a heads up on good medication to help control it.

Have her mention the antibiotic called Zithromax, that's worked for me many times, and for many people I know. Also an inhaler such as albuterol witch opens up the air ways so she can breath better. Maybe a low dose of prendnisone for a couple weeks will help also.

Wife usually gets predisone an a cough syrup with codine. A inhaler like albuterol makes breathing easier, But all this is up to her Dr. Good luck to Mom, Iv'e had that took 2 months to over it.

I take singulair for my C.B. IT seems to help expand the lungs better than anything else I've tried.

Antibiotics, prednisone, and possible a hospital stay. C. B. and lead to COPD. Is she a smoker like was?
