Some cheese is vegetarian and some isn't. Vegetarians avoid cheeses containing animal rennet. Those made using vegetable based rennet are ok for lacto-vegetarians. This is relatively easy to do in the UK as most shop-bought cheeses are labelled. However, watch out when eating out as a lot of restaurants don't realise the difference.
As for being a cheeseatarian; large quantites of cheese are bad for everybody as it is so high in fat with little nutritional benefit. It should only be eaten in moderation or you will end up with very high cholesterol. Use stronger favoured cheeses in smaller quantites rather than lots of milder cheese.

Theoretically, cheese would be vegetarian. However, many cheeses are made with rennet, a coagulant made from the stomachs of veal calves, so those types are not vegetarian. Try to find types that are made with microbial or vegetable rennet or try soy cheeses.
But really, you shouldn't eat so much cheese. The excess protein does your bones no favors and will hurt your kidneys as well. And cheese is just fat central. You can use nutritional yeast to make cheesy flavored sauces without all the bad stuff associated with cheese.

Dude.. cheese is not that good for you.. If you eat mostly cheese, then you WILL have health problems and probably get overweight..
However.. dairy products (milk, cheese) are allowed in a vegetarian diet. Just as lng as you don't call yourself a "VEGAN"

Too much cheese is just gross. But if you are Ovo-Lacto or Lacto vegetarian, then it's fine to eat cheese. But vegans cannot eat regular cheese.

Yes, it's not for vegans, but it comes from a cow, which is fine for vegetarians. It doesn't sound like a good idea, though. All that cheese isn't very good for your health, and you'll get constipated....

No - technically, the ingredients used to start cheese include animal parts, or at least are retrieved from slaughtered animals.
Personally, I am pretty veggie & I couldn't live without cheese.

You could be an ovo-lacto vegetarian. You don't eat meat, but you do eat eggs and dairy products.
