There is nothing on the pack about starbust choosers being neither vegetarian nor vegan but I am told that normal starburst are vegan (correct me if I'm wrong) so I was just wondering if the new variety are?

thanks

In the U.S., Starburst contain gelatin, so they are not even vegetarian. However, there's a similar candy called Mamba, which is vegan. I've seen it at the local 7-11s, but you can also get it at www.veganessentials.com and www.veganstore.com.

I have no idea about starburst choosers because the starburst website is not showing me the ingredients of their products, but I am pretty sure that normal starbursts have gelatin so, in my book, they're not even vegetarian.

In the US, starburst (and skittles) contain gelatin. I wish they didn't b/c I loved them. In the UK, starburst (and skittles) are gelatin free. In the past, I used to order starburst from pangea but now they don't allow these to be imported into the US anymore. I don't understand what the big problem is, after all it's just candy.

Yeah, I always thought starbursts were NOT vegan. I don't know about the kind you're talking about (I've never heard of it), but I would think they'd all be the same.

In the UNITED KINGDOM (funnily enough where this question was asked) starbursts are vegan. They don't contain gelatin. In america they do, i wish people would stop generalising. Choosers are vegan too - shame theyre horrible!
