At the beginning, you probably would want to use mock meats like vegetarian bacon for breakfast. Cereal bars is a good snack option. Stir-fries for lunch or dinner is quick and easy.

Don't just consider it, do it! This is the easiest and greatest things you can do to help animals, the environment and your health. You're okay, a vegetarian can eat dairy products. Just eat whatever you want minus the meat. I have a vegetarian page at my site that may help you. Feel free to have a look and good luck.

A lot of vegetarians still eat eggs and dairy. Therefore-eggs,toast and fruit or yogurt and fruit or cereal with milk and fruit for breakfast. Bean burrito, cheese sandwich or cheese pizza for lunch. Veggie soup, veggie pasta, veggie stir fry, veggie chili, beans and rice, cheese enchiladas, veggie burgers (Boca are good), there's lots of possibilities.
There, now, wasn't that easy?

Well if you go vegetarian you can still have dairy products.

Daily menu ideas:

Breakfast - Muesli with milk (or soya milk) Toast with jam, scrambled eggs (if your just veggie)

Lunch- cheese salad, egg salad, beetroot salad, beetroot sandwich, cheese sandwich, egg sandwich, quorn sandwich or salad, sweetcorn salad, jacket potato and beans, beans on toast etc

Dinner- stir fry, goats cheese and butternut squash pasta bake, thai vegetable curry, mushroom stir fry, quorn products.

Lots to choose from.

Look, it really isn't that hard. You just have to cut out meat, gelatin, and rennet (an ingredient in cheese made from the fourth stomach of calves).

So instead of meat sauce in your spaghetti, crumble tempeh or use veggie crumbles (available at most grocery stores). Instead of meat chili, use tempeh or TVP (texturized vegetable protein). Learn to cook tofu, tempeh, and seitan. There are tons of veggie and vegan analogues out there--veggie burgers and faux meats. So you can still eat many of the same foods, just switching vegetarian ones for meat ones.

Good luck!
