I don't have any diabetes in my family and I have never been sick before. I am only 40 years old and kind of scared at what's going on. I look forward to reading the responses of what I should do. Thank you SERIOUSLY

Getting tested for diabetes, bladder, prostate, and kidney problems is easy... just do it. Nobody here is going to be able to tell you what's going on with what little information you've provided. Even if we had all the symptoms, we'd only be guessing. This is not something you want to guess on.

See your doctor immediately!

If you are thirstier than usual too, then it could very well be diabetes, regardless of your family history. Signs of diabetes include excessive thirst and increased urination, weight loss or gain, fatigue, slow wound healing, frequent fungal infections, and more.

As someone already mentioned there are other things that could be going on, and your health is not something to take lightly.

In any case, diabetes, kidney desease, kidney infections, all of these are very serious.

Why have you waited this long? Stop fooling around and tell your doctor what's going on. Let him know what other symptoms you are having. You need to know what's causing this, and get treatment, otherwise you could end up with damaged kidneys or worse.

Since you obviously have a concern, you should go see a doctor to have yourself checked out. It could be just that you're drinking more water these days. It could be that you have early signs of diabetes (it doesn't have to run in the family for you to have it). It could be that you have been drinking alot of cranberry juice (makes you pee alot).

But one way or another, if you're concerned, see a doctor. They'll probably have you do a glucose tolerance test to rule out diabetes for certain. (It's an easy test, you drink a bottle of flavored syrup and every 30 minutes they take a blood sample over the course of 3 hours. I've had this done myself.). No big deal, and you'll finally know for sure.

I'm not a dr and if anyone on here tells you they are ...well....they are probably lying. Please do not seek out medical advice here, your life is worth more than that. Your best bet is to go the dr's and be evaluated.
You could listen to all the could be this and could be that, but really whats the gonna achieve? you can go to a professional who has studied medicine, spend 10 mins with them and be alive after or in a week etc etc

Urinating frequently could be a prostate problem, bladder infection, or if you urinate a larger amount than you normally do frequently, it could be a symptom of diabetes.
