As long as you aren't discarding the peel, you get the same benefit either way.
But most experts say to eat the fruit whole, because it fills you up longer, and the satisfaction of chewing helps alleviate your hunger much better than drinking juice does.

If you buy a VitaMix instead, you juice the fiber in with the rest of it. It's very good. You have to remove the pineapple skin, but can juice the core. You remove the orange skin, but leave as much of the white part as you can. I think the Vitamix is a better purchase, otherwise you have to clean the juicer to death with a toothbrush every time you use it and you throw away all the fiber. Juicing fruits and carrots and tossing out the pulp makes them digest like sugary sodas, not fruit. Not cool if you are diabetic. a Vitamix costs $400, thought...

Unless you get the pulp, it's probably best to eat them whole. However, in a pinch, fruit juice will count as a serving of fruit, as long as they're pure juice and don't have all these artificial ingredients in them.

It wouldn't matter if you drink all the pulp and don't throw anything bot the seeds away.
