My bf is diabetic and he has a plantar's wart that's not going away. we've been taking out the little dots but it doesn't want to heal.
all the medicine at the pharmacy says don't use this if you're diabetic.
He tried the duct tape thing that didn't work either.
for now he's been soaking his feet everyday with the green sandy spa stuff in hot water and filing the calluoses off.
So is there something else he could try? please it's very painful.

Just put some tea tree oil on it a couple of times a day. It won't affect his diabetes at all. I use it for all kinds of things.... it's especially good for skin tags. Rite Aid carries it for about 8$ to 9$ per bottle. It's in the first aid section.

A diabetic that does his homework is hardly a fool. It only takes a few weeks to learn more about diabetes than any nurse I've ever met.

I'm a 45 year old woman and was recently diagnosed as being a borderline diabetic. My doctor prescribed some medication, but before filling it I decided to do some research on the internet which led me to the methods. After reading this ebook and applying the methods, my scepticism turned to 100% belief. I noticed that my energy levels increased significantly and I felt more rested in the morning, my symptoms started going away.

I am very happy to tell you that I have been feeling better than I have felt in years and my doctor informed me that he will be taking me off my prescriptions if I keep this up.

I recommend you use the Type 2 Diabetes Destroyer to naturally reverse your diabetes.

This person must see a podiatrist that treates diabetic people if he's serious about keeping his feet down the line. Diabetics loose feet all the time to amputation, yes even now days. Often it's from something simple and stupid like this going out of control. You don't want to ignore this or wait. Get him to a podiatrist that treats diabetics!

Your city should have some sort of health dept or free clinic. Let a DR prescribe something vs the otc meds. I was pregnant, with gestational diabetes & my doctor was still able to prescribe me something that did not harm me or the baby, but took care of the plantar wart. Picking them out is only a temporary fix, as you have already seen.

Absolutely -- he could try seeing a doctor. As a nursing assistant, I NEVER recommend that a diabetic try to treat ANY type of foot sore . . . the tiniest blister could result in amputation (actually, I have a patient who is in that exact situation right now).

He needs to go to a doctor to get it removed. If he does it himself or without a doctor, there's a good chance it will become infected. Diabetics especially have to watch out for their feet. It is a vulnerable area for them. But make him go to his doctor. He could get an infection, and that can lead to skin necrosis. Which is really just a fancy term for gangrene. And he could end up losing his foot.

as a diabetic your friend should NOT be treating his feet himself!! Or does he really want to lose them??

If the spots are not healing properly get him to the ER, the local health clinic, a podiatrist, the county health nurse, his doctor's office ASAP!!

This is a matter of if he wants to continue to walk or not! Wheel chairs and orthopeadic appliances are much more expensive than a visit to one of the above mentioned health stations!!!
