hey guys,
Which soap brands are vegan, which means they have no animal product as an ingrediant as well as were never tested on an animal. Please tell me popular brands which I will have no trouble finding.

There are a lot more but these came to mind immediately. You can find them in natural food stores & larger supermarkets. Trader Joe's has Dr. Bronner's & other vegan soaps.

I'm a huge fan of Lush (I prefer shower gels to soaps); while the company isn't entirely vegan, many of their products are. Their Olive Branch shower gel is the best mood elevator ever. Avalon Organics also has some nice shower gels (I love their Lemon and their Ylang Ylang gels), and I can find them at Whole Foods. I think all their shower gels are vegan. J/A/S/O/N has some good products as well.

I agree that Lush is a fabulous store with lots of cruelty-free products. Not all of their stuff is vegan, but most is.
J/A/S/O/N has vegan items, as does Nature's Gate, Kiss My Face, Pangea Organics, Dr. Bronners, and Avalon, to name a few. Most natural foods stores or Whole Foods will carry vegan-friendly products.
You can also go to www.veganessentials.com and/or www.veganstore.com to find vegan cleansing products.

I'm not sure of the 'popular' soap brands that are vegan, I use Lush. If you have a Lush store near you, visit it. Otherwise go to the website, it tells you the ingredients of all the products and which ones are vegan.

I'm glad you know the TRUE definition of vegan, and that it includes supporting only companies that don't test. Many of the ones I've seen think it's just what you put in your mouth, but it's SO much more!

if you're in the uk, some of Superdrug's own brands of soap bars have 'suitable for vegans' on the label.

Castile soaps. Dr. Bronner or Dr. Bonners not sure about the spellling. they are sold at every health food store even at GNC.
