A vegan can not eat anything at all that comes from an animal: no meat, cheese, jello, pudding, milk, butter, ice cream, honey, eggs, etc.
They also do not wear fur, leather, wool, and silk.
Vegans cannot eat jello because one of the ingredients is gelatin. Gelatin is a processed version of a protein called collagen that is found in many animals.
The collagen used in jello comes from pig and cow hooves, bones, and connective tissue.

You can eat only things without an animal base as a vegan. This means, no dairy, eggs, honey, and many other such items which vegetarians can eat.
Vegans aren't the only ones who can't eat gelatin, which is in jello. This is made from the bones and connective tissues of animals. Thus, vegetarians can't eat it either.

Vegans do not use or eat any animal by product. They do not eat anything that comes from an animal, this includes dairy, meat, eggs, fish, and honey.
You will also find they choose not to wear leather, or have leather couches, they might not wear wool or anything else that comes from an animal.
JELLO has gelatin in it which consists of ground up animal bones or hides, in rare cases it can be made from plant substances, but usually only found in vegan foods.

Vegans and Vegetarians (the strict ones) can't eat Jello, because it has a LOT of gelatin, and although vegetarian gelatin does exist (it's made out of seaweed) most gelatin, especially with big-name highly-processed foods, is not vegetarian, being made of things like horse hooves. There are lots of things in this same category as well, such as balance bars, which use fish gelatin, and some altoids (the powdery ones, not the sour ones or the gum), etc.
yum yum, eh?

Vegans try to not eat any animal products up to a point. At some point, they claim, it is unavoidable such as produce fertilized with rendered animal parts. That they can eat.
I hope you aren't thumbs downing because you disagree with this. You vegans here are what taught me this!
justme---"Vegans don't eat, and most don't wear, any animal products whatsoever."----this is inaccurate.
divinity---"Vegans do not use or eat any animal by product."----this is inaccurate. Vegans "try not" to use etc. would be accurate.
sectum---"No animal products whatsoever"----this is inaccurate.
aaron---vegans definitely don't use milk or eggs, ever.

No animal products whatsoever, including dairy, eggs and sometimes even honey.
Vegetarian diet is a lot milder. You can eat everything except meat and poultry. Thus you can concume eggs and milk and yogurt ans other stuff
