I would say yes it will be visible to anyone who does a background check. now the good news is NO it will not cause you to lose or not get a job. The reason is that on an application the specifically ask if you have ever been convicted of a felony. First you said it was a misdemeanor. That is not a felony. Second, you said it was dismissed. that means you were not convicted.

No, it won't seem on a ordinary backround (for organization verify). Misdemeanors do not seem Felonies DO. If it replaced into decreased to a misdemeanor why does it nevertheless seem as a legal. it extremely is the only component that warrants added study. sturdy luck with all of this dude.

Criminal records remain and cannot be erased. The record will be shown to all verifications made by employers and government agencies when requested.

Do you mean you were ACCUSED of a misdemeanor? Because if you were convicted then it doesn't get dismissed. If you were accused and it was dismissed, then it won't show up. If you were convicted, then it's on your record.

If you were young and it was years ago or extenuating circumstances, maybe you could try to get the record expunged (erased?) . See a lawyer about that.
