They should be fine. I leave my cats for 2-4 days at a time, when I go out of town with my job. I just make sure and leave several bowls of dry cat food around, at least 3 large bowls of fresh water, and clean kitty litter boxes and a couple of extra litter boxes.
Just know that your cats will be starved for lovin' when you get home.

It should be fine if you follow these simple steps:
1) Think like a cat - Look at all the possible places they may go and may get stuck. Secure everything so that the house is safe for them alone.
2) Secure doors - Make sure all doors stay open, invest in door stoppers, the last thing you want is your cat getting stuck in a room, dont say it wont happen. A few bucks can save your cats lives.
3) Water and food - Make sure you have enough food for both cats. Add a little more than they usually have, remember cats eat a certain amount, but its better to be safe than sorry. Have many bowls with water, not one large one with plenty of water.
4) Toys - Have all their toys out to be entertained. Rather have kitty's toys all over the place than them resorting to your couch and such. You have more than one cat so they will entertain themselves.
5) More than one litter box. I know you know they are trained. But you dont want kitty pooping all over the house because they refuse to poo in a dirty litter box.
Cats sleep for up to 18 hours a day, so they are only going to be awake a few hours a day to eat, sleep, drink, play and go toilet.
I would also recommend cleaning all their accessories before leaving.

I leave my cat home all the time. He is an indoor and outdoor cat. But my dog has a petsitter. As for cats, make sure to take their collars off, because it can get caught on something. Leave plenty of dry food and water, (not wet food, it will get ants) and if they are outdoor cats, put their food and water outside. Before leaving, show them where the litterbox is. And if you arent sure, maybe tell a friend to come over a couple times a day to check on them. Have fun where ever you are going :D

If you leave them enough food and water they should be fine. We used to leave our cats alone if we were gone a few days. We can't do that anymore since two of them require daily medication now.
You might turn the TV or radio on for them, we used to do that. LOL

I leave my two for a maximum of one night/2 days. I have 2 clockwork feeders with icepacks so their food is served up in meals rather than the bossy one eating all 4 meals in one sitting. Plenty of water, cat tray and lots of cuddles when I get home.

Your cat would be ok yet he will certainly omit you extraordinarily and that i don't think of ten minutes an afternoon is long sufficient on your mothers and dads to work out to him as he's this way of loving and enjoyed cat and used to you being around lots. are you able to cajole them to stay longer ? Ask them to sit down down and characteristic a cup of tea, in order that he has some organization for a whilst and the prospect to sit down down on a lap. Cats are far happier at abode and he will adjust to being without you, yet then going right into a cattery will unsettle him returned. it would be extra ideal in case you may to have a sturdy sitter getting into for that fortnight, determine you manage this previously you bypass away and for them to fulfill your cat so as that they don't seem to be finished strangers. i think of you will omit your cat as much as he will omit you. I under no circumstances bypass away for long as a results of fact i will't undergo to go away ours.
