hello --

I'm getting my own place. I love this retro style fridge in red or white! Is this too much money to pay for one ($2990)? Is it a good size for 1-2 adults? My kitchen style will be in retro -- black, white, and splashes of red. Why are all these "retro" style fridges priced higher than like computerized GE models, etc.... I'm in my 20's. thanks.

Specialty items are always more expensive. The prices only come down when more people want the product. Since this is a retro look that probably won't be happening as it doesn't appeal to a mass audience. It's also only 20 cu. ft. That is a very small fridge. You should be looking at no less than 24 or 26. So I would give a little more thought to this before paying top dollar for a look.

They are higher because there are people like you that will pay it. Not worth the price in my opinion because it is a big cabinet with a small capacity in relation to many others on the market today. Might be good for two adults, but after paying that much, are you going to quickly replace it when you need more storage in 4-5 years? There are some really nice side by sides on the market today with convenience of ice and filtered water for nearly 1/3 that cost.

They are cool, but way to expensive for what your getting.. I have a friend who bought an old Westinghouse (the type with just the fridge and the big silver handle) for $50. She then spent another $20 on a tin of black paint (check at your hardware shop - but I think its just metal paint). Looks awesome. And - it really is retro - not reproduction..

They are pretty cool looking, though i wouldnt recommend spending all that money in one..look in ebay you might find one similar for a fraction of the price.

The reason why they are more expensive is because there are people who will pay that much simple because they are "obssessed" with this style, or are desparate and wont bother looking somewhere else.

You can get normal looking fridges bigger than that one for so much cheaper..so if thats what you really want..i suggest you keep looking..theres got to be a better deal out there somewhere.

Google "cheap fridges" and compare prices from various outlets. Amazon usually beats most for price, I saved £60 ($120) yesterday on a new vacuum cleaner and free delivery!

That's way more than you can afford. Don't be a retard when you can get a nice fridge for $800.

earlier I answer this question, I"d could desire to comprehend who might take the refrigerator in case you all flow out...That individual could desire to pay lots of the value... i think of 50 or seventy 5 dollars could be a lot to chip in.... Or, you ought to get your individual smaller refrigerator on your room and not use theirs in any respect..
