I believe your talking about a dewclaw. This is the ones that are on the side of the paws front and rear. This can be surgically removed without pain. Contact your Vet and let him/her advise you of the course of action that should be done.

My sisters canines had this undertaking. His nail might enhance Very rapid after he ripped it out as quickly as. you will possibly desire to take your canines to the Vet straight away. it particularly is an extremely painful element and could be delt with by utilising human beings that comprehend what they're doing. It pad will might desire to be wiped sparkling. And it would be suggested by utilising the Vet to basically do away with the nail thoroughly so this does not take place lower back. to stay away from this from taking place you will possibly desire to take your canines to get his/her nails clipped each and each month or month and a a million/2 for variety of 6 months. then you definately can wait each and every 3 months. first of all you should be trimming his nails at least once a month but i understand about the poodle fur. yeah a dogs toe nails can be ingrown and if this happens you should take him to the vet and they can clip it and possibly give you some medication in case of infection.good luck:)

OK. first off you need to either clip your dogs toenails every once in a while but if your dog is like my dog he/she wont like it. so i just walk/jog my dog every day and the road/sidewalk will wear down her nails.....and about the toenail overgrow thing....it's too late you need to go see a vet or something because just as if it was a human you can only cure it wiff a doctor's help.

It's important to have the nails cut evry 2-21/2 months.
