I have 3 boys ages 7, 4, and almost 2. They are great kids. I also have a loving husband. He is a big help and a great dad. He is very supportive to me and the kids. I have some stress issues and I went to see my sleep apnea doctor. He recomended that I try LEXAPRO for a while. I was wondering if any of you have tried it and what were your side effects?

My husband was started on Lexapro about 6 months ago, and let me tell you, he is a new man. He is so happy and mostly worry-free now.

In the first month or so, our sex life suffered. He had no drive whatsoever. It returned after that first month, and that was the only thing we've experienced so far. From our experience, side effects were definitely minimal. I would give it a shot :)

I took it for about 10 months and it worked really well (40 mg). The only side effect I had was an upset stomach for the first few days, then each time my dose was raised. It helped a lot with my depression but not as much with my anxiety and panic attacks. I was given a separate antianxiety medication for that. I'm no longer on it due to insurance issues.

i began on Lexapro, yet became taken off via area outcomes. I had no sexcontinual and while i'd desire to ejaculate I had no orgasm. The worst area consequence I had became being shaky continually. i'm on my third antidepressant and that i nonetheless have the lack of ability of motivation, so I asked if i'm going to have a decrease dose as quickly as I observed my psychiatrist. a million each and daily particularly of a million a million/2.

Actually the side effects are just what you want-more sleep! Sometimes the first prescription is not enough. I had to have double. And of course it works for only 60% of people anyway.

I took Lexapro (30mg) for a while, and tried various other anti-depressiants but lexapro always worked best for me and no side effects.
