...How the heck would you know if anyone was conscious when his head is chopped off? Do they tell you or what?

Beheading. I heard that you can remain conscience for as long as 10 seconds after getting you head chopped . Only if its quick though.

No Pain.
Hanging - Hurts
Firing Squad - Messy, and could take time if they miss the head.
Lethal Injection - I hate waiting
Beheading - Maybe...But if he misses it could really hurt. - no axe please.
