Because there are a lot of things that go into attraction. One of the most important thing is physical attraction. Personality, morals and other things come into play too.
People with major personality or moral differences may not even get along so how would they be in LOVE with someone.

Why? B/c if we all romantically fell in love with everyone, how could there be any "special" relationship? To me, it's only special when love is shared by both people and only for each other.
