I have been in the gaming business for over 10 yrs. and I have never heard, call you play. I've said place your bets more times than I can remember. I never learned craps, so call your play maybe a term that the crap dealers used. It could be a term they use in another country. It could be a term in the poker rooms.
There is no such thing as what's the best time to play. Never if you are not just playing for fun. To begin with the odds are stacked against you and the house has the advantage. It's a very addictive
I dealt B J for many years and could count on both hands the time I played it. My vice was video poker, the most addictive game of all in the house, including slots. Be carefull and good luck.
