Yes, it looks bad for the mother and she should be horribly ashamed of herself. She shows no self control. As for the children, yes, unfortunately they suffer twice. Once from the mere fact that their mother would act this way and a second time at the hands of other children with their crude and mean remarks or even adults who lower themselves to pick at a child for the actions of the parent.

Because that is the way life is. Whenever someone in the family makes a bad decision the whole family has to suffer. My husband had affair after affair in our 29 years of marriage, it hurt me allot but I never asked for a divorce, now he divorced me and remarried his affair, three weeks after the divorce, it hurt my children allot. But what can I do ?? Nothing but pray and take it to the Lord and that is what you are going to have to do.

Why do the children suffer period? It is because of an adult who should know better but is selfish. If this teen is under 18, she should go to jail. End of story.

Evil shows it's-self with many ugly faces. Because the child's mother was a sinner, ignorant people will make fun and poke fun at the child. Because they are bullies and wish to cause more grief. They themselves are sinners.
