We get paid on the 15th and the 30th, but I thought if the 15th fell on a Monday we got paid that Friday. That's how it's been for the past 7 years, why am I not getting paid?

Ok, well I've been getting paid on Friday if the 15th or 30th fell on a Monday, and last week well 2 weeks I guess, I got paid on Saturday...

I just don't get it. My pay has been the same for 7 years, and now it's different.

Did you change banks? When I changed from Navy Fed to a local bank, the same thing happened. It was a little frustrating, seeing as we'd been getting the money on the same days for 17 years!!

payday is still the 15th and 1st. If either date falls on a Monday that is a holiday or weekend, then it is paid the Friday before. otherwise, up to your bank if they release the funds early.

I just checked Navy Fed: it was posted today but the funds will not be available until tomorrow. It's been like that for as long as we have had NavyFed..13 years. But we have friends with other banks who will not see their money available until Monday.

When I was in the Military the only time we ever got paid on the friday before was when the 15th or the 30th fell on the weekend. I never got paid early when it fell on a monday.

We got paid today but we have USAA and they pay a day early. It depends on your bank or credit union. Some will pay when the deposit is pending (like USAA) and some don't pay until the money is actually there. If the 15th falls on a Monday, you will be paid Monday. Only if it falls on a weekend or holiday is it paid early.

unless the 15th falls on a weekend you dont get paid until then unless you have USAA bank acct which pays a day early which would be today since the 15th is monday

it all has to do with your bank. Just figure if you HAVEN'T gotten your pay by the 16th you should go and see finance. Different banks have different options for the military. in fact... let me check...

nope. mine hasn't paid me yet either.

You might want to check with your bank. I know some of the policies for DFAS "early pay" on direct deposits changed recently.

Only if the Monday is an "official holiday", i.e. 4-day weekend.
