from what i have read 'parvo' is a sign of this...
but he doesnt have large amounts of blood....very very little amount.
he also has diarreah ...
eats well...is very active...sleeps well...
what can it be?
i am taking him to the vet tomorrow but i want some reassurance now...please help

Its very possible that the blood is from the diarreah. The straining sometimes causes vessels to burst. But, then again, it could be something more serious. If your dog is UTD on shots, then parvo shouldnt really be a concern. I would just play it safe and get your kid to the vet as soon as possible...Good luck!

It is also a sign of worms take a stool sample with you to the vets.
In the meantime try giving him some boiled rice and chicken for today that often will help withthe diarhea.
the good thing is God forbid it is Parvo if it should be from the sounds you have caught it early and he should be fine.

I agree with Mastiff. Could be something as simple as a stomach or bowel infection or it might be worms. Since you're taking the dog to the vet tomorrow, they can advise of the diagnosis and treatment.

It could be a number of things. If he is still active and eating well, I would say it is nothing big. He may just have a sensitive stomach. 1 of my girls can't have some types of treats because of a sensitive stomach, it makes her have small amounts of blood. Try to stay calm, he can sense it if you get upset. Good luck!

Sounds like worms / parasites.. Take a stool sample w/ you tomorrow.
