and not confront the person in person. Ok, somebody did something to a girl's car, I was walking down the street and saw a sign on her garbage can. It said "dang big girl, you could've at least waited until I was at my trunk" so I figured some girl did something to this girl's car or trunk or whatever. Now why the hell would a person put up a sign for that and not just confront the person?

Well, maybe not, but if that was the case..
Maybe they knocked and she wasn't home.
Maybe if they figured they put a sign up, more people would know the situation, and they wanted to try to embarrass her, especially by calling her a big girl.
Maybe they're all talk, and just a little scared.
Who really knows, people just do dumb things without thinking sometimes, myself included.

Perhaps her purpose is to humiliate back at the person who did nasty thing on her car. One of the proper way to avoid confrontation and a physical fight which may either result to slight or serious injury.

Because that person is not man or woman enough to confront the person so they resort to childish behavior

most bullies are scared of the people they pick on so in order to hide their fear they try to intimated them and nowadays people are just messed up you hear this sorts of things happening more and more frequently every day its a sad sad world we live in
