I want to get a CD of some really happy Hawaiian music. You know where they use those metal bowl things that make really cool sounds and the little wooden guitar that makes that awsome sound. I hope someone could make out what I am talking about. Here is an example.
Mark Keali'i Ho'omalu......this guy made an awsome Hawaiian verson of "somewhere over the rainbow" and "what a wonderful world". Somthing like that. Name as many artists/CD's you can think of.

there is a hawaiian artist called "Iz", it is short for Israel Kamakawiwoole who died a few years ago but has alot of cd's out...he does a great version of "somewhere over the rainbow" and the song"country road, take me home, etc." by john denver...his original songs are very hawaiian...i think he has a greatest hits cd which would be right up your alley

Mark did a lot of the Lilo and Stitch sound tracks. My favorite slack key Guitar guy is Ledward Kaapana. Try his Waltz of the Wind Album. Its great.

And then there is always fall back Hawaiian stuff like Don Ho etc.
Happy listening
