Yeah, I wouldn't be suprised if I didn't get any answers to this question. After all, a lot of people have never even heard of stress to the soul/sprit. Which, if you ask me, is kinda pathetic.
But anyways, if any one knows how to relieve this kind of stress, then PLEASE let me know!
Thank you! ^-^

I am about to celebrate my 61st birthday and I have been seeking the answer to this very question most of my life without much success.

One thing I have found out is just about everyone will stand up and try to tell you they have "the answer". But from what I have seen and experienced that is mostly BS!

I believe I have a soul/spirit or whatever you want to call it but mine too has spent just about all of my life stressed because I know this is not where I am suppose to be. I can't tell you exactly where I am suppose to be but I will know it when I get there. All I know is I still haven't found what I have been looking for in this place called "the world".

One thing I just seem to know is that suicide is not the answer. In fact it is just about an almost guaranteed one way ticket right back here.

The best I can offer is to hang in there and keep looking. Don't settle for anything less than what you are looking for and if you do find an aswer to this question please share with those of us who do know about soul stress and are looking for an answer ourselves.

I believe you are speaking of the commonly called "burn-out". The relief is changing the direction in which you are going. I do not mean to change your religion or lack of it, but you need to concentrate on something different for a while. Look around and find another way to serve your fellow man than the way you do now.

Talk to friends about how you feel. Look in the mirror and talk to yourself, but talk out loud so you can hear yourself. When you become stressed, take a few deep breaths and let your mind go on a momentary vacation, say to a sunny beach or to a mountain top. Direct your mind toward something you really enjoy for a few moments. Take a short walk or exercise and start over.

stress in the spirit is discussed in the book of revelation when it describes jesus as treading the wine press alone.

also, when jesus bled at every pore before he was crucified there is a lot stress on the soul and it can be very painful.

there are pharmecutical pain killers for the body and they work most of the time if taken in moderation. but there is a peace that comes from above that brings white light. asking God in hopes of relief can bring an answer to stress.
some people believe in meditation
some people believe in causing stress! many people actually make poison as a weapon, to hurt others with, especially those that profess to serve God.

determine what the cause is and then determine how to remove it.
but prayer is the best way.

Hi. Prayer and fasting is a good antidote for spiritual stress .Faith cannot be alive without prayer.Offer up everything within your power as a sacrifice to the Lord in reparations for the sins by which he is so much offended and of supplication for the conversion of sinners. You should always be prepared spiritually, and reconciled in your soul to be ready for the worst,to die tomorrow.Satan is strong now and wants to disturb us in everything. If you can do all of this you will feel much better in knowing you have helped God in a very special way and he will reward you for your efforts.

there is no such thing as spiritual stress and relieving it. On the other hand those with mental stress tend to mistaken that with spirituality. Mental stress can be relived in various ways such as through prayer and a little exercise will not hurt. Also discussing things that are distressing to you with a friend or friends helps as well. A break from the hum drum of things goes a long way too.

Relaxation, meditation, visualization (try bright blue/white). Do this when you can as many times as you can for healing. Also picture the light washing the fibers of your soul and sending the bad dark particles away from the body.

Don't call others "pathetic" because that causes stress to your soul too.

Not sure what you mean by spiritual stress. Must be New Age or something. Where I come from, we just go to the Cross of Christ - lay our troubles at the feet of Jesus.:)

I shouldn't have to tell you this, but get in your little prayer closet and talk to God.

In other words, PRAY!

If that doesn't help, ask others to pray with you.

Ask God for guidance and strength...

it works if you let it

Good luck

and I'll pray for you too
