faith is a mental state above the boundaries of WHYs, WHATs and looking beyond the limited spectrum of science and accepting the unseen as THE ALMIGHTY. it is accompanied with trust. faith cannot be put in forcibly neither can it be borrowed. it is so personal that even if the whole world might be insisting on pessimism, if you have faith within you, you will remain calm holding on firmly to your beliefs eventually sailing across the biggest of troubles with ease. HAZRAT ALI(R.A) once said,"I discovered GOD by the failure of my plans" Acknowledging the fact that we are just a part of the many things GOD created and that we are as dependent on HIM as anything else for its survival, that HE has given us so much that even if we spend our entire lives thanking HIM, it won't be enough, that complaints only underline how ungrateful we are and this trust that whatever HE does, does it in our best interest , will help you pertain faith.

The hardest thing to do is have 100% faith with out question.
I have a gift, but I can not tell you be fore hand what it is as you will have doubt.
I can have none and there can be none around me.
I can show you the gift but not if I tell you before hand about the gift.
the hardest thing to do is have 100% faith, with zero doubt.
People who say they have 100% faith to you just ask them to show you their God Gift.
Chances are not one in a Billion that they can or even know what point you are trying to get to.
A God gift is not teachable, learnable,a talent, or any thing other than the gift of the impossible made norm for you.
If you wish to pray and ask (start with) My Most Gracious Heavenly Father, Please teach me how to pray...
Wait for 8 or 10 seconds, listen to your mind and speak out loud what enters your mind.
If you become cleansed you will know it right then.\
Praying correctly is the best way to pertain faith.
First you ask God how to pray= now you have started.

Faith is the substance of things hoped for and evidence of things unseen.(hebrews11:1)
this means you hope for(on) something which exists but cannot be seen, or felt... you pertain by believing that something when you just know that something exists even when you don't feel or see it. its like to trust a person you just need to spend sometime to know about that person.. to have faith in God you need to spend time with God.. maybe pray(speak to God) or study His word(listen to God).. then its you who can decide whether you are gonna place your faith on him or not..

Faith is a gift from God, when you have an open mind and accept the possibility of God, rather than believing that there is absolutely no evidence of God, you have the beginning of faith.Prayer and sacrifice will help to strengthen that faith. However, the Devil is always lurking around, trying to take the faith from you.You always have to be one step in front of the Devil.

Do you mean to say, What is faith and how to obtain it?

Faith is an emotion composed by the mixture of two other emotions: desire and hope.

Anything that one has faith in can be reduced to "desiring something and hoping that what we desire is true"

The subject of one's faith is always dictated by the concepts that we have accepted. If I accept the idea that there should be a Creator of the Universe or else nothing makes sense to me, in order to feel faith in this concept I must desire it, and I must hope that what I desire is true. Faith is the emotion of being uncertain. You do not need to feel the emotion of faith if you are certain of your concepts. Concepts of which you are absolutely certain of their existence do not require faith. For example, you do not need to have faith in the existence of the sun and the moon.

But you need to feel faith in the desire that someone will love you, for example. You can never be entirely sure that someone will love you forever. For this reason you keep renewing your faith by making sure that the relantionship is balanced, that you do your part in the relantionship.

To me faith is believing in something even if it is not reasonable.like religion, paranormal phenomena, accounts of strange occurances like space men, monsters, having computer chips in your head, and etc

Many people are in mental institutions for what some people call faith.

Faith is a gift from God. It's always available, you just have to choose to accept His gift.
