This is a serious question so please don't answer with that could never happen to god because he is all powerful. This is my point people. Would you still love the guy if he turned out to have no kingdom. The reason I ask this question is because in the bible all they go on about is gods kingdom and how great it will be to be there. Well lets say it doesn't exist and the only thing that exists is god and his love. Will you love him back? I mean he has lied but doesn't the bible teach forgiveness? I mean won't it just be good to meet god for who he is and what he does. I mean isn't that what love is? When you don't give a dam how rich he is, just as long as you are with the people u love? Isn't that the important thing? Please put some thought into this.

I dont knoe about Everybody but i will still love him b'cos he had give me Birth & moreover he had maked me emotional for the time he had his powers.
He had also given me all comforts of life still he had his powers.
And yes he will be equal to everybody so its possible he may not give heaven to anybody...
Who knoes that without God, we still be having life on earth??
So i will love him as he will be equal to everybody.

If you were in love with a successful business man who lost his job for what ever reason and you had to move to a tiny house and have a few less luxuries would you still love him?
If he lied to keep you happy would you forgive him?
I think the above questions are kind of like the one your asking and of course the answer is yes....providing you believe in God.

The love of God is absolute, not just a His feeling or emotion, but that's what He is. The power of God is also absolute - that's what He is. So are His riches, glory, mercy, justice... - those are what He is. If God loses any one of His absolute traits and character, then He is not God. I'll find someone else.

Don't believe in him now, but going into your premise, if he lost his power, I think I could stand him more. Don't know if I'd "love" him exactly, but hell, I'd probably buy him a beer and listen to his problems, give the dude a place to stay if he needed one. Anyone can fall from power. Hopefully it's the lessons they learn when they do that makes them better beings.

NIce premise by the way - it's a movie screaming to be made.

The creator of the universe won't fall on hard times... But if he did, I would love just as much as I do without question. No matter what happens or presents. He is, and will always be. If I am the last one standing, then I will be the last one praising him.

Lied? No, God doesn't lie..But to answer you, Yes, I would still love God...Because He first loved me! Eyes have not seen, nor ears hear, what God has in store for us! Sound like a lie to you?

Well of course they wouldn't.

During the Seventh Crusade, led by St. Louis, Yves le Breton reported how he once encountered an old woman who wandered down the street with a dish full of fire in her right hand and a bowl full of water in her left hand. Asked why she carried the two bowls, she answered that with the fire she would burn up Paradise until nothing remained of it, and with the water she would put out the fires of Hell until nothing remained of them: ''Because I want no one to do good in order to receive the reward of Paradise, or from fear of Hell; but solely out of love for God.'' Today, this properly Christian ethical stance survives mostly in atheism.

I remember asking a christian if hell and the devil didn't exist (for that person), would she still fear god?

She said yes, but methinks it's out of subserviance.

Dear sweetheart, the thought should come from you.
What if.......? If you be Christ.....? All this I will give to you, if......? All these are the words of the devil, trying to deceive the faithful. "He was a liar and murderer, from the start," Jesus said of him. And it hasn't changed. God bless.

Well if this happened, God would not be God, so it's not a question. God can't lose he's power because he never gained his power. Just like God can't die because he was never created. He has always been, he is the stop and start of time, there has to be finish, that's him.
