Good scotch should have cold water added to it and allowed to breath for a minute or so after slightly swirling, it gives of the full flavor that way . ...... Can be enjoyed with a cigar, try Glenmorangie single malt, love that stuff.

Scotch and Soda is (was) a popular drink, the soda really ruins a good Scotch. Use water instead.
Scotch is an acquired taste. I don't know many 21 yr olds who can drink straight whisky and enjoy it.
Try a Manhattan - Canadian or Bourbon Whisky with a splash of sweet vermouth. Top with a cherry. Verrrry tasty. I like mine with Maker's Mark Bourbon.

Don't ruin a good scotch with soda.
A dribble of cold water to bring out the aroma.
I prefer anything from Islay, especially Lafaioag (or however you spell it)
I will agree that scotch is an acquired taste. Hated it at 21, love it at 40.

Good scotch is very expensive and is an acquired taste - few people like it the first time. I would suggest wine (in moderation) as a healthier alternative. You will need expert advice, but the social interaction is fun and you will learn.

A true Scotsman will add a little ice as that helps with the flavour of the Scotch.
Scotch is only made in Scotland so anything that isn't is a mere imitation and you can drink anyway you wish.
Scotchmen forever!!!!!!!!!!!
