I'm asking this because I'm a 16-year-old boy and I'm a spanking fetishist and I'm wondering how I can expect my parents to react if they find out. I spank myself sometimes, but only when I'm home alone. But I worry that they might come home earlier than expected while I'm spanking myself one of these times. Maybe if your dad had given you a FEW real spankings in the past few years, then you'd KNOW what a real spanking is like and you wouldn't been trying to experience such -- which I'd think you can't do because a spanking is MORE than the whacks. Well I'd offer to give them a good spanking every night at a certain time till they decided if they wanted me to continue with it. But it would be under my terms and probably more severe then you'd want.
I'm not saying what you're going through is wrong because I like to be spanked too. I wouldn't want my parents to spank me though but that's just me.

Frankly if I found out my son was doing this I'd be horrified. My question is WHY? What is the pleasure? Do you get off on this? Are you re-enacting something from when you were much younger? Were you abused either sexually or other? Have you got some form of OCD? Whichever way you look at it, it's not healthy, you seriously need help. I think it's somewhat normal to be interested in spanking as there is a link between this activity and sexual activity. since you've no doubt reached puberty within the past few years it has brought this connection to the surface.
My advice is to try to find others who share your interest in spanking and enjoy it and have a good life!

Unlike the previous respondents, I don't think I'd panic or suggest you see a shrink. I'd sit down with you and explain that what you have is quite a common fetish, nothing to be alarmed or ashamed about, and suggest that now you're 16 (assuming you live somewhere where 16 is the age of consent) you should go about finding yourself a girlfriend - or boyfriend, if that's your thing - who'll be happy to spank you.
I'd add that in my experience people who are into erotic spanking have a good chance of enjoying very happy and exciting sex lives, and I'd hope that you would too.

What you are doing is self abuse and doesn't have anything to do with having a "spanking fetish". It is harmless, but lets call a spade a spade. When you hurt yourself its self abuse. You can either figure out why you are doing this or you can get involved with your local spanking group when you are of age, 21.
