We could be riding on top of dinosaurs instead of in cars. We could also use pterodactyls instead of planes. Life would be schweeet!

why didn't someone back then think of the poor defenseless fire breathing dragons? it's enough to make you weep, really.

There were no dinosaurs 5000 years ago. They had aleady been extinct for 60 million years. The bible does speak about Leviathan which most religious scholars beleive is a Nile crocodile. The bible never mentions dinosaurs, maybe there are books of the bible missing? Or is it easier to believe that all the animals sat together and behaved themselves so Noah could carry on. I think it would have been a free-for-all with chicken feathers flying, elephants screaming, pythons strangling a couple of them, etc...For sure if my dog was there, the chicken feathers would be flying.

Sorry love - it was the Mega-fauna like the big Wombats & 14 foot tall killer Kangeroos in Oz that was over hunted.
& even then (in Oz) the evidence is agains over hunting, rather a competition for resources.
