Well depending... it is possible for your contacts to get flushed out and if you get soap/shampoo in your eyes it will get into your contacts and you will have to take them out and clean them... and until you get them out it will sting and irritate your eyes. Also depending on where you live and how your water is treated bacteria could get into your contacts and could possibly cause an infection. Just remember that soft contact lenses soak up pretty much anything that comes into contact with them.
I think it would just be easier to shower without them unless you really cannot see anything without them :)

I've done it. You can shower while wearing them but remember that you're wearing them so you don't accidentally get soap in your eyes or allow the water to flow into them.

it's bad if you lose a contact down the drain,BUT this has happened to me once in 20 years !

it's fine as long as you dont' rub your eyes a lot.

I don't know how some people leave theirs in all the time!
by the end of the day mine are EXTREMELY dry even when I use drops.
