I am moving and need to get a background check done before I do so.... Does any one know where I can get one done??

there are no pay or free sites for a background check. the places that charge you on the net can not give you one.the only place to get one is at a police station.it is not public information.you can only get a check for yourself and not anyone else.they do not always do a check for you. even the officers have to have a reason and often have to sign papers.----retired texas deputy sheriff----

Wow, where do you live? Anyhew, your local police can do a background check (in most places). In other countries, it would be at the Federal level (e.g., Hong Kong or the Philippines).

Yes you can go online, there are many sights, but i would go to one with a governmental agency, you will have to pay a fee to get this sent. be careful not to get ripped off by some of the sights that do not produce but take your money,
