Take your rental agreement to your Admin Office as proof that your not going to break the contract and that you will be keeping your apartment while you are on deployment. That will allow you to keep your BAH while your gone. Good luck over there.

I don't think you will lose your BAH, I've never heard of that happening. The only thing you would lose since you don't have dependents is your BAS (and I'm not sure if officers get it anyway). Your brigade FRG assistant could probably find out pretty fast for you.

your housing allowance should still carry over when you are absent from you duty station and have to go abroad. When it happened to me my roomates depended on my share of the rent to keep the house on the beach. So you shouldn't have any problems even though you are not married. Ootherwise you would have to be married to live off the base or pay it out of your own pocket. So they should pony up and keep it coming in on schedule. Stay safe.

you should still qualify for it as long as you are maintaining a home( you cannot put everything into storage while you are gone and collect BAH).
