Should American's keep their mouth's shut and their own personal beliefs to themselves, since illegal-immigration has now become almost uncontrollable at this time? With the given set of circumstances, should American's take a more passive stance such as "If you cannot beat'em, join'em" for the betterment of all concerned? Perhap's America should just open our border's to any and all who wish to come and those here, share what they have with those that arrive with their hands out by giving all they have to give of their worldly possessions to the new arrivals, thus showing our true compassion for mankind and those who are different than ourselves and so eager to receive their new found wealth?

How about this? I am a racist against my own people for coming here and breaking the law. They are ruining our economy with the drain on the welfare system. If the dems have their way, everyone of them will be given amnesty, welfare, healthcare, and social security. These are for law abiding citizens of the U.S. Not criminals. If we keep our mouths shut, after the next election, the democrats will be trying to pass another amnesty bill again, and we will have our taxes raised yet again to met the demand of the added welfare, healthcare, and social security. Most whites think all latin people who are born here are the same and support the illegals plight when we do not. Why cannot we qualify for college paid for by the government and interest free loans for people who want to start their own businesses. Something is wrong. We are being taxed to death, and we cannot get a health care bill passed for U.S. citizens. This is hurting everyone in the U.S. who pays taxes, and the illegals are being given what we work for and should be getting. I am not voting for anyone who is running for office who is a sympathizer of illegal immigration reform. There are big corporations and businesses who are being hurt by the November 1st deadline of anyone who is caught having an illegal working for them will be fined. This is who is behind all this, and you cannot tell me they are not lobbying to keep the illegals here to line their pockets. And the republicans are supposed to be the bad guy when the dems are selling our country out.

The only thing to stop illegal immigration is being done on the state level. The government doesn't seem to care.

What about ILLEGAL is it so hard to understand? There is no such thing as an "illegal immigrant" because immigrants come here LEGALLY. Illegal aliens are criminals because they are breaking our laws, sponging off the taxpayer, DEMANDING rights they don't have, hurting our school since teachers have to spend more time with the non-English speaking kids, destroy our ERs since they can't afford to stay open any longer, etc.... Now was anything I said "racists?" No! Every FACT I mention had to do with the ILLEGAL ALIEN CRIMINAL. I don't care if they are white, brown, black, or purple. If they are ILLEGAL they shouldn't be here. To "confused" -- you are confused. You said that it is hard not to have sympathy for the illegals. Sorry, I have no sympathy for someone that breaks our laws. They should be deported and/or jailed. Employers who hire these criminals should be jailed. Sorry, no sympathy here! And that's not a racist comment!!!

Being anti-ILLEGAL alien has nothing to do with racism.
The ever-growing 'illegals' problem is about 12 to 20 million people here illegally with the probability of that number becoming 20 to 40 million in the next decade...draining our social services.

Health care facilities are closing - victims of the growing numbers of uninsured patients they must serve without pay, in California most of them burdened by ILLegals.

True 'immigrants' who come to this country legally, learn the language, become citizens must feel cheated by the pols (and employers) who sanction those who sneak-in.

We have a perfectly good Immigration policy in the United States. We need to soft-pedal all this
toro-caca about racism and enforce the law.

It'd be a disastrous mistake to open our borders up to all illegal immigrants who only want to rely on government welfare. Illegal immigration is still a hot topic, but nor is it being ignored either.

The only real thing that blocks any true accomplishment is political correctness, which I believe has gotten way out of hand.

If we allow illegal immigrants to come into our country and live off of our land, there's going to be a spike in taxation. Where does welfare even come from? The government. And where does government even get that money? Taxes from the citizens.

It's not fair to the citizens who truly care about this country nor is it constitutional. Where in the Constitution does it say "Illegal immigrants will have a citizen's right to a public trial?"

Americans shouldn't be blamed for "racism" when we prohibit illegal immigration. Heck, a majority of countries even have established an effective blockade against illegal immigration.

They are breaking the law, by being upset that people are allowed to break the law and continue to enjoy the freedoms of our country, has nothing to do with being racist, It does not matter from which country the illegal immigrant comes from as long as he does not have the right to be here and breaking the law of our land, they should be deported, I ask what country in our world would allow you to stay in their country illegally, We much maintain and control the influx of people into our country, for all kinds of reasons, such as growth, education, jobs. Why do the people in Mexico not revolt and insist their country provide better working conditions and living abilities instead of blaming our country.

I am an American and I absolutly do not believe that...I am against illegal (criminals) aliens and I know for a fact I am not a racist and neither are my friends and family who feel the same way. And no I will not keep my mouth shut when I feel strongly about something, no one should, however political correctness has gotten so ridiculous it would be funny, if it wasnt taken so seriously

Well considering the whole freedom of speech thing. I am doubting anyone is going to be shutting up anytime soon. In truth it is not uncontrollable, which is why corporations are lobbying and trying to convince judges such as the moron in Northern California to make the executive branch to stop. If it were truly not possible then they would have nothing to worry about.

But, if we turn a blind eye to this crime, what other crimes should we turn a blind eye to.

I don't think that immigration beliefs always have to be tied up with racism, but I find it somewhat fishy when people seem to be especially concerned about illegal immigrants from Mexico, but not so concerned about immigrants from other places. Up until recently (and this might still be the case) there were more illegal immigrants who came here on visas but then let their visas expire than there were illegal immigrants who came across our southern border. But the Mexicans get a lot of attention.

Do you also want to house a family of illegals? You practically are all ready. In California they are giving aid so that illegal immigrant students can go to college.... And who do you think is paying for this!?!?! It's a travesty.

No, we are NOT racist for being ani-illegal immigration, we are being Americans and our rights are being handed out to criminals and people who don't respect us. We should speak LOUDER to our congress and elected officials...

We need to enforce our laws!! It's the only way to fix this quagmire the Liberals are creating for this great country.

I say, "America, love it or leave!!"

Good point! Let's be truly non-"racist" and provide free cruise-fare and plane-tickets to every nation on earth, never screen anyone for any reason, prohibit their leaders from racistly doing so, let the fittest gettest on the planes and the boats with their chickens and goats, come one come all to the final downfall.

But! Your best idea is: Permit those calling us racist to be the FIRST and perhaps ONLY ones handing out money to what they insisted was so dammd FAIR!!

Good one!!!!
