She was never the chairman of the board. She served on the board of directors. Since she was employed by a law firm in Little Rock and Walmart is headquartered in Bentonville, that makes sense to me. She left that position before her husband was elected as President and long before the NAFTA treaty was ever ratified.
Walmart's business posture has not increased because of NAFTA. To the contrary. The corporation has worked at expanding their retail operations into Europe and Asia. Neither of those areas are covered by NAFTA.
However, if she does receive the nomination of her party I will not be voting for electors pledged to her election. Not because of her gender. Not because of her past associations with Walmart. It is because she is gathering around her the same group of advisors that her husband used and that scares the heck out of me.

We all make mistakes for starters, hopefully we learn and grow. Considering we have had the biggest terrorist since Hitler running our country for going on 8 years now, Hillery might just be a step up in the world.

The choice of candidates is not very spectacular no matter how you look at it. Usually the Libertarian party runs the best candidates, but they very seldom win.. most people vote the "party line" and are not very politically astute. (if there were more people who can vote who actually did the research I doubt Bush would have gotten a second term.)
There is also the problem of only getting the media information that the government wants you to get... some sources for less biased views of our government and leaders are in no particular order:
The Utne Reader out of Canada
The Bejing Review out of China
The Guardian (formerly the Manchester Guardian out of England
and the Christian Science Monitor out of the US.

I would take Hillery over Bush any day of the week.. just too bad we are still relegated to choosing the lesser of many evils in our political choices.

Hillary Clinton just any other politicians is interested in business. Clintons for Walmart while Bush for Oil of Iraq.
Anyway, if she is elected, she might concentrate on being a President and not on her business.

VOTE for your choice as US President on my 360 degrees blog and know who will likely win.
