Isn't it better to look forward to the future rather than dwell in the past?

While we don't necessarily need to dwell on the past, the past does need to be acknowledged. To look forward to the future while forgetting the past is to proceed blindly.

We have chosen to make peace with the various atrocities done to our country (that's why we are dignified people), but the perpetrators haven't. That's why Armenians attacked and they accuse us of attacking. That's why Greeks cleansed and accuse us of cleansing. That's why Greek Cypriots massacred and accuse us of killing. That's why West bans free speech and accuses us of banning.

You see, THEY commit the deed and then look for a scapegoat. I advise them to find it elsewhere. Like the great thinker said, Jesus was a scapegoat, venerated much later. That's the Western way. Kill first, ask questions later.
