what is the whole purpose of Adobe Reader 8?

i know why i installed it, becasue sometimes there are sites that read PDF files, and in order to view those sites, u need adobe reader!! but what else can it do?

It reads PDFs. Isn't that enough?
If you click Help, Essentials, you will available to you a lot of tools to enable you to copy text or images.
