So, you are twelve right now and he is fourteen. You are really too young to be dating. Being friends is something else.

If it feels like there might be something not so good about it - it means there is something not so good about it. Listen to your own intuition - and do what you can feel is the right thing to do.

Don't do anything that makes you feel uncomfortable. If you believe he likes you sincerely - make sure the basis is friendship. You are too young to get into an intimate sexual type of relationship. Do things within your circle of friends.

Be careful, he may not be that old - but he is older than you and at that age two years (and sometimes even one year) can be a really big difference in experience.

take it from me i'm 18 i dated a 23 year old at first it 'all seem like he knows you and that your ment for eachother and he might tell you what you wanna hear next he'll try to controll you and make you disobey the people that is more closer to you. i've gotten beaten by this guy he called me names he used me cause he know that i was younger. older guys are'nt good to be with but your ok he's only 2 years apart follow your heart if it's ment to be you will know but do'nt do nothing that will make you feel uncomfortable and stuff that you normally wo'nt want to. your young do'nt worry about boys stay in school get your education you'll find the right guy just be patient let him come to you do'nt chase him. if he liked you he'd do all he can to get and keep you take it from me i know

I have to agree with everyone and say that: one year isn't older. Not really So see what he thinks, if he likes you, and you like him, go for it. At age 13 and 14 it mostly likely won't last all that long anyway. I know, I know, but it's true.

My husband is FOUR years older than I am. But don't date anyone four years older than you until you reach your twenties!! Okay? Otherwise the guy will want more than you want to give.

One or two years its ok, not 7 or 10 or more, then they are perverts abusing kids. Stick with your own age group and be happy. Also remember you are only 13, whats the rush to be used and abused and dumped. Relax and concentrate on your education which is most important.

No little lady it would be good for the both of you. You are talking a mere two years difference. My girlfriend is twenty three years younger then I am. Love is love to hell with the obvious bs that people find sinful in their eyes. There you have it. I guess that both of us should go to confession and ask for our forgiveness? Never happen!..............!

Older? Get a grip little girl. That is hardly "older".
I am 4 years older then my wife of 40 years.

There is nothing wrong with dating an older guy. You guys are still so young, you will probably not eve remeber this when you hit your 30's

No, not in of itself. Do you feel like he's trying to exploit you, or like you're not ready to be dating him? If he is respectful of your wants and needs (especially to take things slowly) I don't think this age difference should be a problem.

Theirs nothing wrong unless he's like 60yr old then that would have to be on the top story of the news.
