If English people call cookies biscuits....what do they call biscuits? What is some favorite tea in England?

no, cookie is an america phrase, we call what you call cookies.. cookies (chocolate chip etc) but everything else that isnt an American recipe we call biscuits.
yeah biscuits in America are called scones over here in England, but the scones/biscuits over in America are way too dry, why would you guys need English scone and tea shops over there? Ive seen the biscuits/scones made in America, made from a mix, the effort is takes to make/start one from scratch is the key..dont cut corners..haha.

Scones are similar to 'drop biscuits'. My favourite English tea is Lady Earl Grey..especially for breakfast. Earl Grey is also a favourite. Twinings Teas are all my favourites

What we in America call biscuits the English and Aussies call scones. Met some Aussies when in Nashville and they were shocked that we put sausage gravy on our scones at Shoneys Restaurant-at least until they tried it.

I promise you, you are going to adore them !!! 2 cups all-purpose flour a million/2 teaspoon baking soda a million/2 teaspoon salt 3/4 cup unsalted butter, melted a million cup packed brown sugar a million/2 cup white sugar a million tablespoon vanilla extract a million egg a million egg yolk 2 cups semisweet chocolate chips Makes 18.
