My daughter's best friend, Nichole,(who's only 16) has become as of today legally emancipated by the courts.
Long story short:
Nichole had lived with her father most of her life until several months ago when he re-lapsed on heroin. they lost their home and the father put Nichole up in a hotel, paid for two nights, and never came back. Nichole hooked up with another friend who's family took her in. After notifying the mother (who lives about 350 miles from here) about this, the mother said for her to get emancipated and she would sign off on it. Nichole HAS stayed in school, started working and the family that took her in rented her a small studio apt in their basement (for only $120 a month which includes room and board).
She needs prayer, alot of it. If this wonderful child is going to have a chance and not become a "statistic" she is going to need all the supernatural forces in heaven!
Please, pray for this "child" because even though she's emancipated, she's still a child...

At 16, and with what she is doing for herself, she's likely a lot more grown up than a number of adults that I know. In taking responsibility for her own life, and paying her own way, and staying in school, I think she will not be a statistic. She is finding resources in herself that few do. I get a good feeling about Nichole.

Lord I just pray for this girl right now I lift her up to you. And Lord even though her earthly father abandoned her show her that she has a father its you Lord the one who created her for a specific purpose here on this earth. Lord I ask that you be with her and show her your unfailing love. I ask that you bring godly people into her life to help her grow in you and that will help her through everything she is going through. Thank you father that nothing is to hard for you and that you always turn what the devil made for bad into good. I pray that no weapon formed against her will prosper and that she will walk with God all the days of her life. In Jesus Name Amen

I pray that this makes her stronger and shows her what a wonderful young woman she is for sticking with school, working and learning to be responsible for herself at such a young age. I also pray that God gives her the strength she will need for the lonely nights and fearful whys and she feels his loving arms around her in her needy times.

basically tell the inlaws that your babies do not are not gentle attempting to steer the prayer and can like it in the event that they could do it without them this year. in the journey that your babies are in any respect shy, provide that as a results of fact the reason. My kinfolk does not even do prayer previously the Thanksgiving meal. - i individually see prayer as a private verbal substitute with God that i might truly do in my head.
