I am madly in love with the woman of my dreams and want to have the most amazing proposal. It will be fun to read about thoughtful ways men have proposed to the women they love.
Any advice will help. I am just looking for as many ideas as possible

Something I saw on T.V. that I loved was on Sex and the City. Aidan and Carrie were out walking the dog and Aidan went down in the middle of the street on one knee playing with the dog. He asked Carrie to hand him the doggie do bag and when she turned he had the ring in his hand asking her to marry him. No, not the most romantic but it was very spontaneous. So whatever you do, should just be spontaneous. Good luck to you!

Well it would most definately help if you listed a little more about the both of you, and her hobbies, what you live by (beaches etc).
I would personally take her out to dinner, and maybe walk along ( we have an shopping strip here an old historic district me and the fiances favorite place) a street where you guys frequently go, maybe take her and say you wanna take her shopping for winter clothes, and while your walking along the strip tell her you got her something. and pull the ring out and propose. Or if you guys have a beach build a sand castle together and kinda ask her to go get something and sneak the ring onto the top og the sandcastle, and put will you marry me in the sand. Or put will you be my happily ever after.
My suggestion is just take her out to a favorite place and propose, and it might mean more to her if you invite her family or firends, so all her important people are there.

Does she have a hobby she loves?

I'm a photographer - so a new camera bag with a ring and box or a proposal written out in photos would have been good for me.

If she likes sports (some girls do - I'm a huge baseball fan) take her to a game.

Does she love animals? Buy her a cute puppy, and tie a note to a bow around her neck asking her to marry you.

Order a pizza and ask them to write "Marry me" in her favorite toppings. Ask her over for a pizza and movie night. Rent stuff like the Wedding Planner, or a romantic movie with a wedding theme.

If you attend service together, ask the preacher if the choir can sing your request at the service ("Cindy, will you Marrr-rrr-ry Me?!?!?!")

Ask her if you can go on a Sunday (or Saturday) drive and stop at wedding chapels. When she asks why you're stopping at churches, tell you you've met the woman of your dreams, and you want to know where her perfect wedding would be held. Then drop to your knee and propose. (If she hasn't gotten the theme soon, you may have to start asking "do you like this one?" to get her questioning)

Whatever you do, protect the ring. Don't propose in a canoe, or on water, or dock, or Ferris wheel, or anyplace where you would lose the ring if dropped. My son proposed on a huge Ferris wheel that they both loved, but didn't get the ring out of his pocket till they were on the ground. Good luck and congrats on your engagement.

My fiance proposed on a paddle boat in the tidal basin (water near Jefferson Memorial). Very romantic, in case you just happen to be in the DC area. But do be careful with the ring! ;-)

Good luck!!

properly me and my boyfriend had understand one yet another for some years earlier we gen jointly so i'm particular its an entirely distinctive difficulty yet as quickly as I first went over to his, I met his relatives and siblings he has 6 365 days outdated twin brothers on the time and that i spent a wile twiddling with them 2 dudes. So relatives interplay is often sturdy, it eases the region. Then we went ot his room and watched a dvd and only chilled with one yet another, there replaced into particularly some intimacy yet we eased into it and ember we have been jointly a wile. So set the bar with a kiss and notice how she reacts.

My fiance asked me while we were making love, very spontaneous and unexpected. I am not a fan of big elaborate proposals and mine was perfect for us. I will never ever forget.

I'm sure anything you do will work out wonderfully. Good luck and have fun.

my husband had a huge bubble bath ready for me - complete with candles, roses and music. He had the ring in his hand, and a scoop of bubbles on top, and had me reach in. There was the ring. It was very romantic.
