I know some do not believe in the trinity. They believe Jesus is the Father, Son, and Holy Ghost. One being three names. People like me who believe in the trinity believe in one God that exist simultaneously in three forms. Now if Jesus is all three. One physical form that has all three names. How did Jesus sit at His own right hand? We are told Jesus sits at the right hand of the Father. How could He do that if God does not exist in three forms at once?

1Peter 3:22 Who is gone into heaven, and is on the right hand of God; angels and authorities and powers being made subject unto him.

Hebrews 12:2 Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.

Hebrews 10:12 But this man, after he had offered one sacrifice for sins for ever, sat down on the right hand of God;
Heb 10:13 From henceforth expecting till his enemies be made his footstool.

Muslim by choice - Jesus prays to God while He was on Earth because He chose to limit Himself. He had laid aside His glory and power to come as a man and save us.

Southern Apostolic - You claim God has no physical body thus no real right hand? Then why did God Himself tell us He stretched out His hands? He specifically says He stretched out the Heavens with His hands. Thus He has a right hand for Jesus to sit at.

Isaiah 45:12 I have made the earth, and created man upon it: I, even my hands, have stretched out the heavens, and all their host have I commanded.

Jesus is the physical manifestation of God. He IS God, but he's God appearing in the flesh. Immanuel: God with us.

When Jesus was on the earth, walking with men, he prayed in the garden of Gethsemane. Who was He praying to if not God the Father?

God in 3 appearances: God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit who abides with us now.

‘But isn’t Jesus called a god in the Bible?’ someone may ask. This is true. Yet Satan is also called a god. (2 Corinthians 4:4) At John 1:1, which refers to Jesus as “the Word,” some Bible translations say: “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.” But notice, verse 2 says that the Word was “in the beginning with God.” And while men have seen Jesus, verse 18 says that “no man hath seen God at any time.” (Authorized or King James Version) So we find that some translations of verse 1 give the correct idea of the original language when they read: “The Word was with God, and the Word was divine,” or was “a god,” that is, the Word was a powerful godlike one. (An American Translation) Clearly, Jesus is not Almighty God. In fact, Jesus spoke of his Father as “my God” and as “the only true God.”

Did Jesus ever say that he was God? No, he never did. Rather, in the Bible he is called “God’s Son.” And he said: “The Father is greater than I am.” Also, Jesus explained that there were some things that neither he nor the angels knew but that only God knew. (Mark 13:32) Further, on one occasion Jesus prayed to God, saying: “Let, not my will, but yours take place.” (Luke 22:42) If Jesus were the Almighty God, he would not have prayed to himself, would he? In fact, following Jesus’ death, the Scripture says: “This Jesus God resurrected.” (Acts 2:32) Thus the Almighty God and Jesus are clearly two separate persons. Even after his death and resurrection and ascension to heaven, Jesus was still not equal to his Father.

As for the “Holy Spirit,” the so-called third Person of the Trinity, this is not a person but God’s active force. John the Baptizer said that Jesus would baptize with holy spirit, even as John had been baptizing with water. Hence, in the same way that water is not a person, holy spirit is not a person. (Matthew 3:11) What John foretold was fulfilled when, following the death and resurrection of Jesus, holy spirit was poured out on his followers gathered in Jerusalem. The Bible says: “They all became filled with holy spirit.” (Acts 2:4) Were they “filled” with a person? No, but they were filled with God’s active force. Thus the facts make clear that the Trinity is not a Bible teaching. Actually, long before Jesus walked the earth gods were worshiped in groups of three, or trinities, in places such as ancient Egypt and Babylon.

So you interpret 1Peter 3:22 is God is beside Himself???

So you think Jesus was a ventriloquist when he was baptized. The Bible tells us after coming up from the water, the heavens opened a all heard God's voice say, "This is my son whom I have approved." Also in two places at the same time. Remember the holy spirit descending upon him?

You would have to disregard Jesus in John 14:28 when he said simply, "My Father is greater than I am."

Of course his right head doesn't know what his left head is doing according to Matthew 24:36 because Jesus says concerning the day or hour for the end of this system of things is known only to the Father and not Jesus, himself.

what's there to freak out about? it truly is only a question. I actual have large faith that Jesus is the purely-begotten Son Of God. the purely Son produced by using the daddy on my own. it truly is why this Son is the firstborn of all advent, and by using technique of him all different issues in heaven and in the international were created. except for drawing interest to himself as being the Messiah God's Anointed One, and being The Son of God Jesus continuously stated that worship could bypass to the daddy. Matt. 4:10 The Bible tells us why Jesus drew interest to himself. study Acts 10:34,38 that shows that the failings he did proved that God changed into with him. Matt. 16:16-17; John 20:30-31. So no i don't experience responsible because I worship Jesus's Father and God and positioned implicit faith contained in the ransom sacrifice of Jesus.

Edge, are you against the Trinity?
I don't know where I stand on the issue yet; I grew up with belief in the Trinity but when I got to this age I was told there is God, then Messiah, then the Ruach HaKodesh (Holy Spirit) and that they were not "God in Three Persons".
Your verses tell me it is NOT God in Three Persons -- but then someone will pull up "I and the Father are One" and I am back on the fence once again.

What do YOU think of this verse, "I and the Father are One"? How does it relate to the verses you already quoted?

You are quoting verses that speak against the trinity to prove the trinity, it does not work. How could Jesus sit at the right hand of God if he is God or part of the trinity?Or is he part of the trinity some of the time and seperate the other part of the time? I mean you can sit at the right hand of your father but would it make you your own Father at the same time as you? You just proved it yourself, the trinity is false!

You seem to have a misunderstanding.

Most of those Christians who do not believe in a trinity are unitarian (only the Father is God). I have not met anyone who believes that Jesus and the Father are the same person.

I suspect that you are not resolving anything here. What sect believes that Jesus and the Father are the same person?

Christians who do not believe in the Trinity (such as some of the Church of Christ churches) believe that Jesus was the son of God, but not God himself. Muslims believe Jesus was a prophet, but not God. I haven't heard of anyone believing that Jesus was Father, Son and Holy Ghost in one body.

The expression "Seated at the right hand of God" was a
Jewish way of defining the relationship of Father & Son.
They already understood GOD as Spirit, who breathed
life into Creation. & empowered the prophets of Israel.
The theological term 'Trinity' was formulated over 300 years.
It became binding upon the whole Church at Chalcedon in 451.

The trinity is nothing more than the way some people try to cling to the false belief that they are worshiping only one god. It's three gods for the price of one. Buy one, get two free. And don't get me started about those hell-bound Mary-worshipers.
