Hi there. i'm using Microsoft Outlook Web Access and I want to delete the 50,000 e-mails in my sent folder. So far, I haven't found a way to do it other than clicking every freaking box individually.

I've tried: holding down the ctrl key while clicking on the messages. Then hitting the delete key. NOTHING HAPPENS.

I've also tried highlighting the first message, holding control, then hitting the last message. It just gives me this error message "At least one folder or message must be selected.

Highlighting or hitting "select all" doesn't put checkmarks in the the boxes...it just highlights them. And then when I hit the X delete button, it tells me I have to select something.

I'm so frustrated! Help!

I don't have an office - I'm a student. It's a student e-mail account.

You could try to go to your sent folder, and under edit icon select select all, and right click your mouse and there should be a delete icon, select it and all will be delete... Else you can select all message and move it to your junk mail box and you could just empty your junk mail after you move all unwanted mails to the junks... Hope this could help.. Cheers

Why dont you just log in when you in the office and do this within ?
OWA is not designed to handle this type of ops as far as I know, if you cant get near the office, then use VPN to create the link from your outlook to the Exchange

i don't see the way it truly is a risk to rapidly delete messages that are marked "unread" in OE. Is it a risk that your boss can configure his Microsoft Outlook to delete messages he has study?
