The short answer is YOU!
By that I mean this Universe which YOU are a part of.
Everything, everybody.
I do not understand what GOD is. So I cannot answer your second part of the Q. Since I do not see a separation from this Universe at all. I am still learning so if I were to attempt an answer it will be that the creative energy comes from within this Universe which is all encompassing. Perhaps in this regard you can call this GOD.

Whenever I feel down, I think how incredibly wonderful and mysterious life is... I'm an atheist, but how proteins, nucleic acids and fat transform into a living cell, seems just like a miracle. My must-go-on inspiration comes from the marvelous fact that we are alive. It makes me want more, know more, experience and learn.
My creative inspiration comes from sadness though.

I do want to be like Jesus. My friends and loved ones inspire me. God inspires me. A beautiful day inspires me. My 3rd grade students inspire me.
People here inspire me.

I am inspired by and when God answers my prayers.
Yes God is very creative in me, especially when the Holy Spirit enters within me.

God is my ultimate inspiration. I strive to seek Him in all that I do and I try to live a life with as much love as Christ (which I definitely fall far short from).
But my human inspiration comes from Daniel Weyandt (Zao). He's an awesome dude and I look up to him.

My great grandmother because she is a strong woman, but my muse would definetly have to be one of my good friends Kyle. I'm a photographer, and he's always been my subject, and I think always will be as long as we're friends.
