This is SO easy to make and SO very yummy.
1 Can Apple Pie Filling
1 Package Instant Brown Sugar and Cinnamon Oatmeal
(or other flavor)
1 Tablespoon Butter or Margarine
Preheat oven to 350 degree. Fill a 3" Ramekin with about 1" of the Apple Pie Filling. cover with a 1/2" layer of instant oatmeal. Dot oatmeal with butter or margarine and bake for 15 minutes or until oatmeal is browned.
This is great hot or cold and ABSOLUTELY WONDERFUL with just a small scoop of ice cream served on top of the warm bake.

If I wanted to cook just one or two, I'd probably just peel and core the apple(s) then slice. Melt some butter in a pan and saute the slices. When they're starting to get soft, add some brown sugar to carmelize with the butter and coat the apples. Add a little cinnamon and/or mace and/or nutmeg if you like. If it needs a little moisture, add some apple cider or juice (or water).
Easy sauteed apples! Good for dessert or as a side dish with pork.
Uncooked apple thought would be Waldorf Salad.

Core the apple and cut into 12 wedges. Toss with 1 tablespoon melted sweet cream butter, 1 tablespoon sugar, and one teaspoon lemon juice, and bake in a 400 degree (F) over, stirring occasionally, until tender when pierced, about 25 minutes. Cool, and top with a generous dollop of caramel apple yogurt. (or I'm sure regular yogurt or plain caramel would work)
Bon apetite!

slice the apple in quarters. Take out the seeds. Spread on crunchy peanut butter and have a tall glass of milk on the side. (This tastes best when apple is cold from frig.)

Ask your friend for the recipe! You can make a crumble using oatmeal, flour, nuts, butter, cinnamon and sugar and combine them until it is pea-sized peaches and sprinkle on top of the apple filling and bake until bubbly and brown!

super easy, super quick, and you should already have the ingredients:
peel apple. cut off edible parts (or heck you could eat hte core if you want!......) and dice into bite size pieces.
sprinkle with cinnamon and sugar. add a very small amount of butter if you want (slicing it thin with a steak knife works).
throw it in the microwave for about 2 minutes.
ta da! baked apple...without waiting for the oven (would be silly to turn the oven on for only ONE apple anyway!)
optional and oh so delicious: top your apple pieces with a scoop of ice cream.

I like caramel apples. You can get a kit in the grocery store.

Apple cakes are really good. You didn't say what type of apples you have. What kind of apples you have will make a HUGE difference in what you make.
Apple tarts are also good. I cheat and use premade pie dough.
