was working as a nursing assistant for aprox 3 months thennoticed pain in leg which got worse anyway ended up having major back surgery the thing is I am only 34 and have a family, I was covered by income insurance protection which I understand will cover 75% of my already pathetic wages, well its oct now and I had op in march all paperwork has been sent in, Doctor says never go back to nursing and I dont know what to do? will I get anything and if so when and whats envolved on their part?

You need to check the policy terms to see if you will get anything. It doesn't sound like you're totally disabled.

You don't specify if this is short term, or long term disability coverage you have. There are WAY too many variables for anyone here to "guess" if you're going to get any money.

you need to call your insurance company to find out why you haven't heard from them. You can also check with your state department of labor, you may be eligible for retraining in a field that your doctor approves.
