I like it when my girl calls me and we have conversations every night but like...why is it that girls wanna have hour long conversations on the phone about everything and nothing at all?

not all girls wanna have hour long conversations on the phone about everything and nothing at all......but a certain percentage of the girls do.....i believe it is partly due to the fact that they are used to chatting with their boyfriend every night for hours and when one day they do not do so, they will feel uncomfortable as they feel that the guy no longer love her as much as the past.....girls like to compare how differently their boyfriend treats them in the beginning of the relationship versus the present......this is one of the main reason....another reason could be that girls want their bf to care for them and they know that their bf care if he is willing to talk to her on the phone....other reason could be that she is bored/excited about what has happened in the day and just want someone for company

Tell her that while keeping up with each other is cool and you like it, it really isn't good for the relationship, conversations and opening up to one another really is best done on a one on one basis for an optimal relationship... and I am totally serious about this, its what my College Marriage and Family Teacher told me about my relationship with the guy I was dating and limiting Phone and IM convos would limit misunderstandings and one on one is better for building trust and true communication..

They are bored and you have to listen cause you are her guy! I know it's lame. The sad thing is, she probably talks to four other people (prob girls) about the same things she's saying to you helloooo girls like to talk they don't really care if you think it's interesting or not!!!! Plus us chics have to deal with some lame things that you guys do so you just have to take the good with the bad!

Haha! I know what you mean. I'm not a phone person but apparently all of my friends are. I'd rather have face to face convos or IMs. The phone just doesn't appeal to me.
Otherwise, I can be pretty talkative if I felt like it.

most girls just like the fact a guy os willing to listen. and some will want your opinion or feedback. if you dont liek it then get off the phone. it is one difference of guys vs girls.
