Im 19 And I have 3 Sisters that are over 21,Therefore Im always the designated driver..Sometimes I get tired of it..It seems like they are having all the fun and Im just being used...They are funny for a few hours and then they are just stupid & drunk.Do you ever get tired of being the designated driver??..I do... but i feel guilty if I dont go with them ,because they will just drive home after they have been drinking and I would feel bad if something happened to them. What should I say to them??

This is why I think the drinking age should be lowered sometimes..Because of people your age that are more responsible than older ones. You are an awesome younger sybling, just learn from their mistakes. You will be of drinking age in 2 years so they better be learning how to take a taxi..LOL..

Give them a set number of designated driver tickets (or "coupons") and let them use them as they want. Say 5 for a six month period. Tell them the rest of the nights are for you to enjoy, so they can take turns being the DD for each other and you can go out and do your own thing. If they protest, let them know it was a favor you were doing for them anyway and that they are grownups and can figure out their own rides. Then realize that they truly are adults and it's not your job to babysit them. If you are concerned that they will drive drunk, talk to them about that. But you don't have to babysit them forever.

just talk to them about it. i know that you're worried about them, which i would be too. but they should be smart enough and take responsibility too. maybe you should tell them that some nights you don't want to be the "driver" and that they can get a taxi home or have a friend that wont drink for one night then drive home. theres so many different options. you should just talk to your sisters about it.

First tell them how you feel. Second you have probably crossed the line from designated driver to enabler. I know you would feel bad if something happened but maybe you could find out where they will be drinkng at and let the police know.

Tell them to find another driver or call a cab. If they get caught drunk driving tell them let that be a lesson to them about breaking the law.

Take a camera along and take pics of them drunk and stupid. Then blackmail them.
