They are horizontal lines moving in an upwards direction. They are on when in gameplay and when in the main menu. I am using the color cables and they are connected to a regular Apex telivision. Ive had the system for a while now, a couple of months. Can someone help me get rid of those annoying lines?

Hey man, the best way to explain this is, it's happened to me. After awhile they stopped, then came back, then they got worse. I risked it, bought an HDTV with HDMI, and now I have no lines, and it's crystal clear. =] Also, I was using the PS2 av (color) cables, I don't know about you. But, the HDMI HDTV solved my problem.

wow this happend to me and i was gettin so angry and thought the sysem was broken but just buy some more av's
(cables) and yo prob will defanitly be fixed
and it does not matter if it is hd display or not just get the new cables. most likly you moved it to different tvs or rough housed with it or something

Did you check your cables? Maybe it isn't console's problem, but your TV's? Do you have strong magntic field sources or radiointerferences near your TV (speakers, fridge, radio)? For how long do you own your TV?
