You can learn quite a lot if you have been trained to read people. I will give you an example.
I was walking along the street by myself with a boy and two girls who are his sisters. (all under 10)
The boy sees me and puffs out his chest and starts to swagger and I know he is going to bump me as we pass.
Anticipating that I alter my step so I was on my right foot, so that when he bumped me I was prepared and bumped him back hard.
Suffice to say that all three of them pass me carefully.

That they will attrempt to interact with each other even if they can't speak a coomon language of shar a common culture. People seem to have a NEED to try to comunicate with each other.
