i am 14 years of age and i play basketball, im 6', my coach is telling us to start working out but im not sure if i should because i heard working out doesnt make you grow taller and i need to get taller because height is everything in basketball

Nope, lifting weights doesn't stunt your growth. There is no scientific evidence. Lift weights to make yourself stronger and push those defenders around in the low-post.

No, working out only makes, us better decision makers, and we feel so much better, we sleep better, and there is nothing negative about working out, it is all so good. I wish more of us, would work out.
