....when God saved you, you became pure as the whitiest snow...all sins....all sins....were thrown into the Sea of Forgetfulness....that is where you need to leave them....in God's eyes, you are a new person.

A purity ring works as a reminder. you wear it on your left hands ring finger. which means you could not have sex till that purity ring is replaced by a marriage ring. Kissing does not count. It's not really about breaking your hymen. It's just so that you save you self for your husband and you don't get yourself into and trouble by heaving sex before marriage. some people buy a purity ring and break it by the next month or year or two. So you have to decide careful because it's a big decision. The purity ring is really not expensive. you could get one around 30 bucks with something special in graved on it. It's up to you on what you feel is right on this situation. I hope that I've helped. good luck !

I don't know too much about the topic but I don't see why not. The concept of a purity ring is to make a promise to yourself that you never forget about. Your religion shouldn't matter, nor should the things that you have done in the past. What matters is now, and if right now you think that waiting until marriage is best, then you should remind yourself of that promise however you see fit.

Purity rings, or chastity rings originated in the United States in the 1990s among Christian (No denomination mentioned) affiliated sexual abstinence groups. The rings are sold to adolescents, or to parents so that they may be given to their adolescent children as gifts.
It is intended that wearing a purity ring is accompanied by a religious vow to practice celibacy until marriage. The ring is usually worn on the left ring finger with the implication that the wearer will remain abstinent until it is replaced with a wedding ring. There is no particular style for purity rings; however, many worn by Christians have a cross in their design in reference to Jesus Christ. Some rings contain a diamond chip or other gemstone and/or "Love waits" embossed somewhere on the ring.

No it is totally fine to wear a purity ring even if you aren't a virgin, I know a lot of people who aren't virgins and have re-commited to purity. I am baptist and I go to a private school and almost everyone wears purity rings. It doesn't matter waht denomination of chrisitanity you are, you can still wear a purity ring.

Honey God forgave you for that already, No you do not have to be a Catholic to wear that ring. The only thing you need to do is keep yourself pure from here on out. God knows your heart and this is between you and the Lord so don't worry about any stupid answer you get on here.
And let me say that I applaude you and every other teen whom have made this very smart and mature decision:^D!

Wear it. It's a symbol to remind yourself that you want to wait for marriage. Don't let someone else tell you can't wear it just because you're not Catholic. It's the idea behind it that matters to you.
Blessed Be ^_^

Of course. My best friend has one and she is not Catholic. I am thinking of getting one myself and I am not Catholic or a virgin. It is a matter of what inspires you. I would say go for it! I think it is a great idea.

I am Baptist and my kids wear them. I think it would great if you wore one. God will forgive you for your past sins. The point is that you have repented and are making a new committment to God. Wear it with pride !!!!
